Deborah Spencer
BEng Civil
Deborah has over 20 years experience as a project delivery specialist of major infrastructure projects. She has extensive experience assisting clients in leading and delivering complex infrastructure projects. Through this experience she has developed an in-depth understanding of the complexity of major infrastructure projects, including traditional and collaborative delivery models.
Deborah has been involved in an impressive portfolio of major rail projects for Queensland Rail under the SEQIP RAIL program and in the Victorian Rail network on the Regional Fast Rail Project and more recently Regional Rail Link Project.
Prior to joining Link, Deborah had ‘Hands on’ experience in the delivery of a wide variety of infrastructure projects for a top tier Australian contractor and smaller civil contractors.
Scott Bayley
BEng Civil & Computing (Hons), MBA
Scott has over 20 years of experience in the delivery of major capital projects. He has extensive domestic and international experience, working for owners, contractors, and professional services firms. He has been involved in the delivery of a wide range of infrastructure projects in the transport, mining, development, social infrastructure and power sectors.
Scott has specialist expertise in the commercial management of multi-discipline infrastructure projects. In recent years he has led and managed integrated client teams on major capital projects, with responsibility for procurement, contract administration and dispute resolution.
Prior to joining Link, Scott was a Construction Risk and Dispute Resolution Advisory Consultant with Price WaterhouseCoopers, where he focussed on assisting clients with resolving disputes.
Brendan Driscoll
BAppSci Construction Management (Distinction)
Brendan has in excess of 20 years of senior management experience in the planning, procurement and delivery of large-scale rail, road, tunnel, building and civil infrastructure projects. He possesses extensive contemporary client side project delivery experience throughout the scoping, procurement and delivery phases on some of the largest and most complex projects in Australia.
Brendan has specialist expertise in managing the engineering and design process, project approvals, identifying and resolving technical issues and interfaces, and a detailed understanding of the requirements of Transport Safety Legislation.
Prior to joining Link, Brendan gained extensive project management experience in the delivery of a range of infrastructure projects for top tier Australian contractors including Leighton, Thiess and Transfield.
Gerard Aherne
BEng Civil (Hons), GradDip Environmental Management
Gerard has over 20 years of senior management experience in the planning, procurement and delivery of complex large-scale infrastructure, transport and construction projects. He has considerable experience working for both major contractors and government delivery clients.
Gerard has a strong project management capability and his experience has enabled him to develop, implement and monitor systems, procedures and reporting processes for Risk Management, Cost Control, Program, Safety, Quality, Environment and Document Control.
